A surfing The Bible is offering three lucky people the chance to ditch their nine-to-fives for board dates among the country’s most enticing waves.
Hailed by Australia’s Tracks Magazine as the ‘best job in the world’, the chosen few will embark on a surfing journey along Australia’s coast chasing big waves, competitions and live music – and get paid for it.

Successful applicants will live in a converted bus, stay in surf shacks and only work two weeks out of each month.
The reward includes $50,000 each, plus expenses — but there’s real work to be done.
While you don’t need to be Kelly Slater to land the role, you will need to be social media savvy and able to capture your love of sports as a video journalist.
“We’ll foot the bill for pretty much everything as you travel up and down the coast, attending big surf events and music festivals, eating and drinking in the best pubs and great local restaurants and filming everything in between,” Tracks Editor said the boss Luke Kennedy.
A TV crew will follow the trio, documenting their every move for a new reality show promoting Australia as a must-see destination for surfers.
The opportunity is part of Tracks’ big push to revive itself and return to “its 1970s counterculture roots.”
It also offers surfers the chance to own a piece of the prolifically published magazine through a crowdfunding investment campaign.
An Airbnb-style platform offering beachside accommodation and geared towards surfers isn’t too far away either.
“For more than 50 years, Tracks Magazine has been the undisputed voice of surfing around the world,” said sports icon and Tracks ambassador Wayne Bartholomew.
“Being on the cover of Tracks was every professional surfer’s ultimate dream, so I’m thrilled that three young thunderers will have the chance to experience the same feeling with the revival of the magazine.”
The lucky surfers will be announced in July. More information about the opportunity can be found at Tracks Magazine website.
